Utility wires knocked down from furniture and tvs being broken and thrown from third floor of 349 Seaver Street. The entire property is covered with items that can't be disposed of in the regular trash collection and I do not know for sure if those are live wire that have been torn from the street pole with the heavy items that the tenant has thrown all over the property on yesterday 6/22/25

I’m urgently asking the City to reconsider the online-only registration system being implemented for Clougherty Pool weekends. This new approach is going to severely limit access for families in Charlestown who rely on this public resource, especially during the summer. This system is flawed. People will reserve spots and not show up, leaving the pool half-empty while others are turned away. It’s already hard enough to access summer activities in the city — now we’re adding unnecessary barriers to something as basic as cooling off at a community pool? Not everyone has reliable internet or time to sit around refreshing a website to grab a slot 24 hours in advance. Last year’s walk-in system worked just fine — lines were short, and families were able to plan their days around it. It was fair and accessible. This change feels out of touch with what the community needs. I strongly urge the City to reinstate the in-person, first-come-first-served system, or at least reserve weekend spots for walk-ins. We cannot afford to make a free public service even harder to access — especially not during a summer where heat and affordability are real concerns. Please fix this before the season starts. The community is watching. | Case (SR) Type: [Boston Center for Youth and Families] Referred To: [BOSTON CENTERS FOR YOUTH & FAMILIES]
