All apartments run on a single 30A outdated fuse circuit. System is severely overloaded and frequently fails for multiple apartments under basic daily use; such as AC and fridge use. When fuses are blowing they are heavily blackened/scorched, and very hot to the touch when replacing them. Im concerned about the severe fire risk to the building. Inspector will need the landlord to provide access to the building's electrical panel which is in the basement.

Recurring short circuiting of fuse, blown fuses are scorched black indicating short circuiting rather than power overload. Each apartment only provided 30amps, not enough for most modern appliances. Fuse box for all apartments located in basement.

Maybe time to fix this before someone runs into it and gets hurt? Akso, please tell me what the appropriate 311 category for this kind of issue is?

Dangerous sinkhole opening up next to manhole. Been here almost 2 weeks. Are we about to have a sewer problem, a gas problem, a baby Jessica situation or all of the above?
